This site is dedicated to the memory of Michael Brownjohn.

Please help support this fabulous cause in memory of Mike Brownjohn who loved the sea, boats, ships and the seaside. He opted to serve in the Royal Navy for his National Service and always felt that a connection with the sea was an essential part of his being. He respected and feared the sea and was full of admiration for those who watched over those in peril on the sea. Please help them continue their fabulous work in his memory. 29.11.30 - 10.09.15

Thoughts

29.11.17 Thinking of you on what would have been your birthday dad. Wondering what you would have made of the ongoing preparations for Rebecca and Jason's wedding on Jan 5th, 2018 and the wonderful news that Matthew and Maria are expecting a baby? You would have been so proud of them all *** We miss you *** Linda and all the family

10.9.17 - 2 years today since you died - and we miss you. You are forever in our thoughts and memories. Your nieces, Pamela and Anne have both send loving messages to say they are remembering happy times with their Uncle Mike. Love Linda and all the family **

10.9.16 Today is the first anniversary of your death. In so many ways it seems so hard to believe that we have survived without you. But, so much has happened and we have all changed our positions in the family now that you are no longer at the head of it. Thinking of you still leaves me feeling raw and sad, but I am able to smile and remember happy and funny times and get real pleasure from them too. Your grandson Matthew is now a married man, and his wonderful wife Maria has brought a new and lovely thread to our family, as we reach out to our Greek relatives. Your grand daughter Rebecca goes from strength to strength in her work and is forging a wonderful relationship with Jason. We are moving on. We are building on the foundations laid by you - and blissfully ignoring any of your old habits and funny ways that do not suit our lives. We miss you. We will never forget you. But we are doing well.... :-)
